I can’t even begin to tell you how good the show was. There was a lot more people there than I expected, to be honest, and the band agreed. They seemed very happy that so many people turned out for the show. I stood there through two warmup bands, one of which was pretty cool, and then for the show. My back and shoulders were killing me, but I waited five years to see this show so I didn’t even care. It was awesome. Everything sounded great and they played for a good long time.
I got to see their set, but I missed most of the encore because we had to get out of there. I’m still a little bummed about it, but sometimes you do things for other people and not for yourself. I’ll go see them again soon, and I’ll stay for the whole thing even if I have to walk home.
We forgot the #*!@ing camera, so no pictures. I’ll have to remember to do that next time.
