That&rsquo;s just the way life is. No matter what you do, there are certain things that you ultimately have no control over. Lately I&rsquo;ve been feeling pretty crappy because of the situation with my mom, and it&rsquo;s really getting to me. I miss my parents. I miss the way they used to be when I lived at home. I remember them being very happy, lively people. After my dad lost his job, things changed. Then Mom got sick and things got worse. I get a strange feeling when I&rsquo;m around them lately, like there&rsquo;s something that they don&rsquo;t want to tell me, or maybe it&rsquo;s something I don&rsquo;t want to ask. I had heard that he was misquoted. I did find the actual quote buried in an article on NewsMax and another site (because NewsMax isn&rsquo;t always accurate) and here&rsquo;s what it says:</p>

Happy BIrthday To Me

Thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate my 26th birthday with me.
I hope everyone had a good time. If you missed it, we had burgers, salads,
and other assorted goodies.. and I even had the Packer game on so nobody
had to miss it.
The weekend was a lot of fun. My friend Mark came up on Friday night and
we went out to get some dinner. We spent Saturday goofing around the house
