My blog. Personal thoughts, anecdotes, and musings.
Well it’s Wednesday and there were a lot of interesting things that happened at work today. We’re dropping out of some projects that I enjoy working on, but it will free us up to pursue other areas, such as application development. It should be fun. Right now though, I am concerned with getting more students going on web scripts and applications as well as web design. We need more people with experience, and we just don’t have it. It’s going to be an uphill climb too, with a hiring freeze and budget cuts.
Full Plate

Another work week begins, and I have a lot on my plate. I have a lot of projects I have to sort through and decide which ones are most important. The ones that don’t make the cut will most likely get dropped. There’s just too much to do and not enough time to do it.
What an interesting week. I haven’t been writing much because I’ve been working hard at my “new” job and spending time with my daughter at night. She’s been really difficult for Carissa, but she’s just been behaving great for me.

It’s a new year, and a lot of things are going on right now. I just completed a video project for a company here in town and am planning to purchase a DVD writer with the money from the project…. because it would have made the outcome so much easier to achieve.
Busy

I’s been a few days since I’ve updated… things have been really busy around here. I was at my parents’ house for part of the weekend visiting with some friends from high-school, and then I was working on some projects. I have my portfolio cd almost finished, and I’ve been messing around with my digital camera.
Christmas

Christmas was fun. My parents and grandparents came into town and we made dinner for them. There was lots to eat and there were lots of presents to open up. I finally got a tripod for my digital video camera so I can start doing some different types of projects
Short Week

Another week begins, but it’s a short one. I’m working on Christmas Eve, but I get extra pay so that makes it worth it. I’ll be doing the same thing next week too, so that will be nice. I like short weeks!
Slow

What a slow day. I’ve spent more time reasearching than anything else today, and I’m really tired of reading a computer screen. I’m still steamed that I don’t get vacation days at this job, but at least I get time and-a-half for working Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. That will help
