Hindu Pushups (Dands)
 | - Start in the regular pushup position with your hands directly under your shoulders.
- Spread your feet shoulder width apart and, keeping your legs as straight as you can, push your backside into the air and your sternum down towards the ground.
- Keep your back as straight as you can while leaning back and stretching the hamstrings before beginning the movement.

 | - Take a controlled inhale through your nostrils and come to the "Forward" position.
- Make sure that your hands are directly under your shoulders and then spread your feet for some balance.
- Your hands and feet should not have moved at all.

 | - Exhale SLOWLY and lower yourselft to the ground
- Make sure that your elbows are directly against the sides of your torso.
- At the bottom of this position your entire body is flexed and should be just a few inches off the ground.

 | - Take a controlled inhale and keep your hips just off the ground and "look up" while straightening your arms.
- Be careful! Only flex as far as your body will allow

Dive Bomber Pushups
 | - Start in the regular pushup position with your hands directly under your shoulders.
- Spread your feet shoulder width apart and, keeping your legs as straight as you can, push your backside into the air and your sternum down towards the ground.
- Keep your back as straight as you can while leaning back and stretching the hamstrings before beginning the movement.

 | - Flare your elbows outward and lower your nose toward an imaginary spot between your hands.
- Note that the feet and hands are still in the same position
- Also note that the position of the lower back

 | - Flatten yourself out so that your torso is parallel to the ground.
- You should be about 6 inches from the ground
|
 | - Take a controlled inhale and keep your hips just off the ground
- "Look up" while straightening your arms.
- Be careful! Only flex as far as your body will allow
|
 | - Flatten yourself out so that your torso is parallel to the ground.
- Again, you should be about 6 inches from the ground
|
| To complete the rep, return to the position in step 1 |
Diamond Pushups
 | - Place your hands directly under your chest
- Head is up looking forward, legs are flexed, and your feet are spread to help maintain balance.
- Keep your head up and your torso rigid
|
 | - Keep your head up and your torso rigid
- Tuck your elbows back towards your hips. At the bottom position, the insides of your biceps should be touching your ribcage and your triceps should be just below parallel
- Check the placement of your hands to make sure there is no discomfort in the wrists.
|
| To complete the rep, push away from your chest and rise up to the starting position. |
